The Midtown Farmers Market is held in Sacramento, CA on Saturdays year round on 20th St. between J & L streets and on K St. between 19th-21st streets. The market is a lively and fun place to gather, shop, and enjoy the community. There are food demonstrations, live music, a kids play area, all surrounded by stores and restaurants.

After circling in the truck for a few minutes, we found a good parking spot and started exploring this HUGE market. Even though this market can be very busy and crowded, there is plenty of space to spread out and vendors took their time chatting with us about their products.

You really can spend the whole day in this area. Start at the market in the morning, shop in the area, tour the Capital building and grounds, have dinner in Old Sacramento, and catch a Sacramento Kings game in the evening!
