This one was originally gonna be a longer, more complex narrative, featuring a few human antagonists thrown into the mix. Of course it was all cut, and it was decided that it would be more of an 80s horror flick, rather than the modern alternative.

Story: A group of animal rights activists discover a bunch of dogs caged in poor conditions by a man named Dwight. After they set them free, they soon realize they were encaged for a reason. They are mutated and beyond dangerous. Dwight reunites with the town's sheriff and informs him, knowing they must hunt down the wild hounds before they can kill and feed. Meanwhile the hounds soon discover a local summer cabin, packed with party going teens, the hounds make it their mission to slaughter all on sight.
