Franconia Springfield Station is a metro station on the blue line for the DC Metro transit system. This station only services the blue line and has direct connections to the VRE trains via the exit on the mezzanine level. This station is the western terminus on the blue line, and the station is located in Fairfax County. I did a complete walk though of the station so you will see the platform, the mezzanine level, and the skybridge entrance. There was no train action there as the line ends there.
