A Naveta is a megalithic chambered tomb unique to the Balearic island of Menorca. It dates to the early Bronze Age. Hugh Newman explores the site with Neil McDonald of http://www.megalithictours.com and a few megalithomaniacs in October 2016. It has two vertical and two corbelled walls giving it the form of an upturned boat which is where the name comes from. The largest example is the Naveta d'Es Tudons. This one is accessed from the main road of Mahón to Ciudadela de Menorca and is within a zoo, but they let you in to take a look.
