Winter Storm In A Van - This... is why we did it!

Описание: Winter Storm In A Van... what’s it like? In a Revel? Are we crazy? We feel, not at all. It’s an adventure, which is why we opted to downsize to a 4x4 van like the Winnebago Revel in the first place. So when the weather folks starting warning of a major winter storm on the east coast we started making plans to drive into the storm instead of away from it.

Even though we loved the quiet peacefulness of our dispersed campsite on too of the snow covered mountain at Wiseman’s View, our favorite parts of the trip happened very early on as we had the Blue Ridge Parkway all to ourselves as snow blanketed it. Once we made it safely to our campsite we proceeded to setup camp and build a campfire in the snow. Once the campfire was roaring we got out the Lodge 5-quart dutch oven and cooked our best version of White Chicken Chili over the fire.
