LIFE ON THE BOG chronicles life lived closely within the natural world of northern Minnesota, its seasonal shifts, observing the wildlife passing through and the rhythms advancing: grouse drumming, peepers screeching, trumpeter swans tooting, tree frogs keening, grosbeaks fluting. This journey is at times absurd, reflective, humorous, slapstick, thoughtful, silly, contemplative, and laughable, but never profane.
