How To Make Vegan Mashed Potato | Dairy-Free and Gluten-Free Recipe
Who would have thought? I have never been a good mashed spud cooker maker person, just not my gig. And I love eating mash as much as my mates do, but never really invested any time mashing properly.
When I film for YouTube and vlogs I am clear that the recipes I am filming are for you at home.
They are recipes that you and I can make weekly. My foundations of cooking are based on your internal health, all your 78 organs in your body. YES 78, I know right? My recipes shine in from all the simple veggies that our farmers grow locally. Those veggies somehow get overlooked in all the food trends and food fads.
I personally don't have the time to keep up with all the new beauty foods, restrictions and what I should and shouldn't eat. Unrealistic and a waste of my time, when time is the most precious commodity on the planet. I threw away my plastic potato masher thingie. Brought a ricer to make gnocchi. Ricers cost around 20 bucks, maybe cheaper.

It’s Vegan, it’s arm and shoulder friendly and most of all it’s still creamy and delicious.
𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦
2 large Potatoes, peeled and chopped
Water, as needed
2 Garlic Cloves, peeled and smashed
¼ cup Coconut Milk*
Salt, to taste
Black Pepper, to taste
1 Spring Onion, finely chopped, for garnishing
A handful of #EASEANDFLOW
*You can use any other milk you like
𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗗
Add the potatoes to a pot, pour in water just enough to cover the potatoes and season with salt.
Taste the water, add more salt if needed and throw in the garlic cloves.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 30-40 minutes until the potatoes are soft.
Drain the potatoes and garlic and mash them using a ricer.
Season with black pepper and more salt if needed.
Pour in the milk and stir to combine.
Garnish with the spring onions, serve and EAT immediately!
