Today we explored one of Phuket’s most untouched natural areas the last remaining rainforest on the island. This peaceful hike led us through dense jungle trails and ended at a beautiful waterfall hidden inside Khao Phra Thaeo National Park.
Phuket is known for beaches nightlife and resorts but very few people realize it is also home to an ancient rainforest ecosystem. This area is protected and remains one of the only places on the island where you can still experience Phuket as it once was.
The hike itself is calm and beginner friendly with shaded paths tropical plants and flowing streams along the way. If you are visiting Phuket and want something grounding and nature focused this is absolutely worth adding to your list.
