Please join us in congratulating Theresa Goltermann, Tabb Middle School, who was just named the Virginia Region II Teacher of the Year!
Dr. Victor Shandor, division superintendent, and Dr. Steven Constantino, asst. superintendent for instruction for the Virginia Department of Education, division administrators, and school board member Jimmy Richardson made the surprise announcement in front of the school's entire student body today.
Mrs. Golternmann now represents 16 school divisions from throughout Hampton Roads and the Eastern Shore as one of 8 finalists for Virginia Teacher of the Year! The Virginia Teacher of the Year will be selected next week at the governors reception in Richmond. We are so proud to have her represent YCSD!! #LeadYCSD
