Mechanical Bell! Otis Series 1 Elevators at Hampton Inn, Madison Heights MI

Here are the elevators at the Hampton Inn hotel in Madison Heights Michigan. These are some basic Otis Series 1 elevators from the mid 80s. These elevators have a strange mechanical bell that rings whenever the doors open on the first floor. I have no idea where the bell is located, but its a very soft mechanical bell sounding very similar to the old Otis bells that were common to hear on Otis Autotronic elevators.
