Unlock Maruti Ciaz
The Maruti Ciaz can be unlocked in 3 ways. You can use the remote key to unlock the car by pressing the second button on the remote and pull the door handle and get access to the car. The second way is by pushing the black button on the door handle while keeping the remote key in the proximity of the vehicle. Press it and then pull the handle towards you to gain access of the vehicle. The third way is by using the key. Press the tiny button on the back side of the remote, the key will pop out. Put the key in the slot provided, turn it to the right to unlock the car.

Start Maruti Ciaz
Maruti Ciaz has keyless start/stop feature. To start the car, press the clutch pedal and then press start/ stop button which is on the right hand side of the steering wheel. To turn it off, press the button again.

Headlamps, Foglamps & Indicators
The headlamps can be used by accessing the stock placed on the right side of the dashboard. In order to turn on the parking lights, turn the knob once. To switch on the headlamps turn it again. To switch on the Indicators, push the same lever up or down. For left indicator, pull the lever up and for using the right indicator, pull it down. Foglamps can be switched on by pressing the button provided on the right of the steering wheel. Fog lamps can be only used if the parking lamps or the headlamp is on.

Driver Information Display
Driver Information Display shows various information like average fuel economy, instantaneous fuel economy, and distance to empty. The information can be rotated by pressing the right button on the console. The display also shows outside temperature, odometer and has two trip-metres which can be cycled by pressing the left stick on the console.

Open the bonnet
The bonnet can be opened by pulling the lever placed on the lower right side of the dashboard. Pull it upwards and the bonnet pops open. Now, locate the lever under the hood and press it to the left to open the bonnet. Look for the stand on the left side of the lid and place it on the groove provided in the engine bay of the car.

Fill Wiper Fluid
To fill the wiper fluid, open the bonnet, find the container with the blue cap on the left side of the engine. Fill the fluid as required and close it again.

Side View Mirror
Ciaz has electrically adjustable mirrors. To open the mirror, press the button provided on the armrest on door of the driver. To adjust the mirrors, select the mirror you want to adjust by pushing the button located above the joystick and then use the joystick to adjust according to your need.

Access to the Boot
The boot of the Ciaz can be accessed in three ways. You can locate the button above number plate while the car is unlocked to open the boot. The boot can be also accessed by the remote key directly. Keep pressing the last button of the remote and the boot pops open. You can also use the button on the right hand side of the dashboard to open the boot of the car.

Access Spare Tyre
To access the spare tyre, open the boot. The spare tyre is kept under the carpet. Remove the carpet, take off the tool kit, unfasten the nut and pull it out. To put the tyre back, place the tyre, match it with the nut placed on the floor and fasten the nut.

Fuel Lid
The lever to open the fuel lid of the Maruti Ciaz is on the floor board and is located on the right hand of the driver seat. To open the lid, pull the lever upwards and the lid will open.

Tyre pressure Information
Tyre pressure Information of Maruti Ciaz is mentioned on the pillar of the driver side. In the case of Ciaz. the cold tyre pressure should be 32 psi for front tyre and 29 psi for the rear.

Adjust Driver Seat
The driver seat of the Ciaz can be set according to need and comfort of the driver. To set the recline angle of the seat, use the lever placed on the right side of the seat. The height of the driver seat can also be adjusted through a second lever placed on the right on hand side of the driver seat. Push it down to decrease the height of the seat, to increase the height, pull it up repeatedly to get required seat height.

Operate Wiper

Use Wiper
The lever to operate the wiper in Maruti Ciaz is located on the left hand side behind the steering wheel. Pull the lever towards you to spray the water. It will activate wiper as well and clean the windshield. To adjust the speed of the wiper pull it up or down, according to the need.
