The toys realize that Thomas was right about Spencer's intentions when Heidi sees Spencer searching for them through her missing eye, which was left behind in Spencer’s room. Before they could go home, they are imprisoned by Devious Diesel and his minions, including the brainwashed Lightning McQueen.
