Renukaji is a unique place in terms of its religious and tourist importance. The center of attraction is the 660 meter deep human shaped Renuka lake, and the adjoining Talaab (lake) with tampels of Mata Renuka ji and local Parshuram .An annual 5 day fair held 10 days after Diwali, remains to be a highly anticipated event and thronged by thousands of devotees from different parts of Country. Place has not lost its religious sanctity even with the passage of time.
Locals claim that the lake is named after the mother of Lord Parshuram who was the tenth avatar of Lord Vishnu.
The lake is surrounded by many beautiful destinations that are worth exploring such as Renuka Temple, a zoological park, and a sanctuary. Apart from that a lot of adventure sports are also there for the entertainment of visitors.
