I picked up this vintage dressing table for FREE on Facebook Marketplace and transformed it into a fully functional kitchen island that sold for $795!
In this video, I walk you through each step of the process — from stripping off the old finish, removing the mirror, and extending the legs, to adding a drop leaf and sealing the final piece with FIDDES hard wax oil.
Here’s what I used:
• Cabot’s Brazilian Roast stain
• FIDDES Hard Wax Oil (matte)
• My go-to carbide scraper and Bosch sander
• New drawer pulls
