엄마 친구인 이모와 이웃 친구와 세 집이 나눠 먹을 김치를 만들어서 저도 도와주러 왔어요. 세 집이 나눠 먹을 배추만 100kg😱🥬

하루 꼬박 이모가 김치 속에 넣을 갈치를 다지고 김장 날에는 오전 내내 속을 만들고 배추에 묻혀 김치를 만듭니다😊 고춧가루가 매워서 김치도 매워질 것 같아요! 맛있겠다🤤

November means kimjang season! Every year, my mom says she won’t make kimchi again, but by the end of October, she’s already gathering high-quality salted cabbage, radish, green onions, garlic, and seafood paste.

This year, she’s making kimchi to share with two other families—her friend, our neighbor, and us—so I came to help. The total cabbage weighs 100kg! 😱🥬

It’s a full-day process. My aunt spends hours chopping pollock to add into the kimchi paste, and on kimjang day, the whole morning is dedicated to seasoning and coating the cabbage. With the spicy chili powder, this batch should have a nice kick! Can’t wait to taste it! 🤤😊”
