Few doctors can honestly claim that they have gone through their whole career without failing at something.
A while back, I failed my first (MB exam) professional exam in medical school.
I overcame, don’t worry! But as someone who had pretty much never failed any exam in my life, this was a really foreign and terrifying experience.
How did I deal with failing in medical school? There were certain things I did that eased my preparation for the exam again. I hope you find this video helpful because ultimately, failure is an intrinsic part of the medicine game, common to many competitive professional environments. The best thing we can do is to try to learn from each event and capitalise on it.
