Recipe:
200g rice
1 can coconut milk (165ml)
2 Deciliter water
1 liters water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla powder(special ingredient. Not always used)
to top:
coconut sugar
cinnamon
You can also add raisins or dates or any other fruit
-- Rinse the 200g of water to remove some of the starches and clean the rice.
-- Then put the stove on high heat and add the 2 deciliters of water.
-- Once cooked down for about 4-5 minutes you now add the coconut milk and the additional 1 liters of water and the 1tsp of salt.
-- Now you will let this cook down for about a total of 45 minutes, occasionally stirring it around so that it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan.
-- About 20 minutes in we added the tsp of vanilla powder and continued stirring.
-- Once ready and served, you will add the coconut sugar and cinnamon on top to your liking.
