Описание:
Well, it was first delivered to the US Navy in April 1945 where it flew over 1,600 hours, but in 1956 it was bought by the Royal Danish Air Force. It was operated out of Greenland for several years and in 1968 this aircraft struck an iceberg while out to sea. It was retired in 1970 when the Sikorsky S61 helicopter started to replace the Catalina in the Search And Rescue role. In 1972 it was sold to the RAF Museum.
