"Jesus Christ and the Church in the World" - The Transfiguration shows us that Jesus is fully divine and fully human. God became human to be with us and to serve us in the world. We may want to stay on the mountaintop, to build dwellings and keep the church above the world, but Jesus came down. He entered the world to serve. Serving others in the world is not easy or comfortable—it is often risky—but it is the path Jesus walked and the path he calls us to follow.
