Mass Effect has a villain problem

Описание: Hello, everyone! I'm Cole from The Kingdom, and today I'm sharing my opinions on the PRIMARY antagonists throughout the games. The minor antagonists such as Nasana Dantius, Morinth, and Vido Santiago are not talked about in this context.



The Collectors were GOOD villains, but there wasn't enough of them in my opinion. Obviously I wouldn't have wanted too much, but they could have stood to have more of that "strange dealings" stuff they had in the books. As it stands, you could /almost/ forget about them given how long you go between encounters.


I honestly don't think it's fair to compare the kett and the Collectors except as far as how they serve as villains. They are very different, so I don't think their methods and personalities should be compared. How they serve as villains, sure. But not who they are. The only reason I do that here is because I mean to point out that A, they do have personality; and B, the Collectors prove that you don't need personality to be good villains.
