A Day Through Monasteries, Villages & Hidden Trails 🌄
This was one of those perfect Ladakh days that doesn’t feel rushed yet gives you everything.
We started our journey from Leh to Likir, beginning with a peaceful visit to Likir Monastery. From there, we moved deeper into the lesser-known side of Ladakh — passing through Yangthang village, where we stopped for a simple, soulful lunch.
Post lunch, we headed towards Hemis Shukpachan, and from Dakmar, did a short mountain trek — quiet trails, open views, and that raw Ladakh feeling you only get away from crowded routes.
The drive continued to Tingmosgang Monastery, followed by Chudong, where we saw the ancient wall once used by locals to fetch water — a small but powerful reminder of how life existed here centuries ago, & the most loved samosa to end the day ✨
