The beginning of the journey in Kazakhstan started with Almaty, former capital between 1929 și 1998. It is still one of the most important cities of Kazakhstan. Almaty remains the largest, most developed, and most ethnically and culturally diverse city in Kazakhstan.
The next itinerary was The Ile-Alatau National Park, located in the South of the city. The landscape is made up of broadleaf and coniferous woods, glacier and very beautiful lakes.
The Talgar Peak in this area reaches almost 5,000 metres. The two bikers started the ride at 2 degrees Celcius reaching the great Almaty Lake, a lake of an amazing blue colour.
They passed along the Tian Shan astronomic observatory and the last stop was at 3.300 metres, where the asphalt ended. To be continued.
