The entire family/clan is heading to San Gabriel River by Azusa to explore a river that has rock pools that offers a clean, clear , green, and cold fresh water. This is about 1 hour drive from us and we were not disappointed despite of the crowds and the scarcity of parking spot. A lot of videos talked about the river being dirty and a lot of trash. The area we stayed at (Oaks Picnic area) is clean and hardly any trash. I hope that everyone takes responsibility to keep it that way and clean after themselves. If you've never been here and you are from Southern California, I highly recommend to give it a try next time. If you have kids, they will enjoy it so much, just like all the kids that were with us. We all had a blast. It was a great weekend spent with the family.
