The title track from John Howard's 2006 release, Same Bed, Different Dreams in 2015 became his most Streamed track on Spotify after it was used in an online radio play on WBEZ's 'This American Life'. Interest in the recording continues to grow.
"I wrote Same Bed, Different Dreams, only a short piece, just over a minute long, in 2004. It was always meant to be the title song of the album and has kind of been overlooked probably because it is so short, it's almost like an interlude on the album. But since its use in This American Life's radio play of the same name, interest has really grown, especially on streaming sites.
"I'd never done a video for the track but as the track's profile grew in recent weeks I thought it was about time I did. We filmed the performance in my home studio in Spain." - JH
