France and the Netherlands have put forward a declaration which would decriminalize homosexuality the world over. Many nations, including the United States, have decided not to sign on to the non-binding document.
This is a terrible notion that needs correcting. Homosexuality is not a criminal act; it is as natural as heterosexuality. Gender is a spectrum, not a dichotomy.
Freedom of sexuality and freedom of gender are basic human rights.
