Turkey's Defence Ministry confirmed no casualties and issued a stark warning Ankara reserves the right to respond. It is the first time Iran has directly threatened a NATO member state in the current conflict. Turkey, which shares a 500-kilometre border with Iran, had been urging de-escalation and warning against regime change. The war that began over Tehran five days ago has now reached Turkish airspace.
