Figures show that from September to December just over 17 million people in England received a flu vaccination from the NHS for free as part of their winter flu campaign.
But that's less than a third of the population - and is restricted to those who are eligible to receive them.
For example the over 65s, those with long-term health conditions, children aged 2 to 17, pregnant women, those who live in a care home or are the main carer for a disabled person.
For everyone else, you're expected to book and pay for your own flu jab from a pharmacy or high street store - which can cost up to £20.
