I get stumped sometimes, when trying to find a gift for some people. Having said that, I haven't come across anything like this before, so although not the cheapest Olive Oil out there, it certainly has cache. The person I've bought it for enjoys cooking and puts everything into it, enjoys the delivery and presentation. As such, this is perfect for him. Organic, cold pressed, prestigious Portuguese region Douro and flashy.
Cold Pressed means that not only have no chemicals been used to extract the oil from the Olive, but also, the temperature is closely controlled so unlike the normal expelling method, the temperature is closely monitored and controlled so no heat is added, changing the taste.
