The word "Panagbenga" comes from the Kankanaey language (the native tongue of the Kankanaey people of the Cordillera), meaning "Season of Blooming." This festival celebrates the resilience and rich cultural heritage of the Northern Philippines. In this video, we capture the precision of the street dancing competition, the massive crowds, and the incredible floral details that make this a world-class event.

The Panagbenga Festival is a month-long annual celebration held every February in Baguio City. While festivities begin on February 1st, the celebration reaches its peak during the last weekend of the month with the Grand Street Dance Parade and the Grand Floral Float Parade. The event officially concludes in the first week of March with a grand closing ceremony and fireworks display.
