This drive should take between 20 and 30 minutes depending on the route and the time of the day, we managed it in 20 minutes as it was midweek and out of rush hours.
Hawes Pier has a pictures view of the Forth Bridge, so definitely give yourself some time to explore the area before boarding on a ferry to the other islands such as the Inchcolm, which would be the topic of the next video.
