In 2022 the WCCSA initiated a research project to find out how major organisations in different sectors were determining and living by their values and how this affected their governance. The research was undertaken by Leeds Beckett University and involved 14 different organisations from 5 different sectors. The research process has already provoked actions.
The findings, which are relevant to governance professionals and leaders in a wide range of organisations, identify ways in which an awareness of values can improve governance and the performance of, and trust in, organisations.
