Littleroot - Full EP

Описание: Littleroot is a short album I made to take a little break from bigger projects. This June, I'll have been out as nonbinary for 5 years, and I wanted something kinda sentimental and kinda silly.

Animal crossing funnily enough played a big role and cruisin' specifically reminds me of those times and people a lot. Celeste was pretty big for me as well (I imagine a lot of trans people feel this way).

Hey, Just Checkin' In is from Ribby: The Game, a really sweet game that I don't think is out yet. I don't have any sentimentality towards the game, but the original song is by megan diamondthorns mist something or other (or just "megan" here on youtube) who's a big inspiration of mine especially back in 2020 when I was a wee baby figuring myself out.

I remember those late nights back in 2020, walking around the animal crossing museum with my custom design demiboy hoodie on kicking my feet in the air. Making a cover of littleroot town that never made it to youtube but that somehow lodged itself in my brain as synonymous with this feeling. I'm sure this all seems silly to everyone else, but I guess I don't really mind that anymore. I hope that you can be comforted by littleroot when you have a lot on your mind, as I did all those years ago.
