House No. 44 is about a petty thief Ashok working for a gangster named Sunder. His life changes when he falls in love with Nimmo who convinces him to give up his life of crime and start afresh. Ashok also gets information that his former associates are on his trail and he might be killed anytime. Will Ashok go back to the dark world of crime or will he manage to ward off all difficulties and lead a happy life with Nimmo.
