Toronto - CASH GRABBING - Speed Cameras

Im not really a law Youtuber but this needs to be adressed and shared with everyone.

Spotted a new speed camera in the neighbourhood of Scarborough. Apparently this is the new way for the city of Toronto to grab cash from drivers with a ridiculous grace speed of 0 kilometers.

It is explained as a new way of slowing down drivers who speed through school zones but why do people who don't speed have to suffer from this?

0 Grace is unheard of in any civilized county and more reminds of a bribe trap of regardles if you are tired or actually have an emmergency. Plus activating a speed camera in a school zone where school is not going to be happening for atleast another year is absolutelly out of any logic or excuse.

1KM over the speed limit is 5$ and ON +TAX/TAX/TAX
20KM over the speed limit is 150$ and ON +TAX/TAX/TAX

If there is an issue with a speeding while there are
classes then make those cameras active while school hours and school bus pick up - drop off happening.

But the City seems to be more profit oriented and are not applying schedules for that aswell as activating those cameras while there is not school happening AT ALL...

Pure PROFIT ORIENTED SCHEME aimed at regular people...
