For the last 8 years we’ve had sizeable car camping gear that seemed to come along with having small children and needing a big tent for all the small child gubbins.
But now the kids are 8 and 6 it’s time to downsize so we have more options. Bikepacking, train based camping trips. The world is out oyster!
This is our new stove. It’s a Vango Folding stove with windshield. I looked at things like the jetboil stoves but I preferred the lower profile of these. Less chance of the kids knocking them over when they’re flatter to the floor.
We tested it for one night/morning camp and I’m really happy with it so far.
