A night that no one will forget! Kawasaki gets its first 450 main event win since 2022, three returning 250 riders stand atop the podium and a statement made by a young "aussie" in the SMX next class.
In the 250 class, we saw a the danger boy remain on top, but the big story was watching Michael Mosiman, a rider who years ago was on the verge of retirement due to multiple injuries rack up yet another podium-starting the season going 5,3,2 in the first three rounds. Ryder DiFrancesco put himself in another good position and stamped yet another podium finish after failing to be on the box in San Diego.
The 450 Class was 20 minutes of battles starting with Jason Anderson pulling the hole shot then leading several laps until it turned into the Sexton, Lawrence and Tomac fireworks show. It is fair to say, Chase Sexton has entered the chat and has shown he is back in title contention, while Lawrence and Tomac stand firm with only eight points separating them.
We can't forget about the first SMX Next race of the series that was red flagged in the opening lap due to a pretty scary crash-but after a full restart, we witnessed Kayden Minear the Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha teen put on a dominating performance in his first ever supercross race in the US.
