City of Victoria made it a strategic priority to move to zero-emission vehicles. One of the first larger vehicles they invested in was an electric fire truck.
The process started in 2021 and battery electric emerged as the preferred option.
This video outlines the process of integration and the results that the investment has had.
Operational savings are currently running at more than 50% of the previous vehicle.
