RA8876 supports two PIP windows that can be used with main display window. PIP windows do not support transparent overlay, it just provides users to enable or disable the functions, without overwriting the main display window image data. If the PIP1 and PIP2 windows are overlapped, the PIP1 window is displayed over PIP2 window.

Use PIP window. First, make sure that you have already had a beautiful display shown on your panel. Second, define a data source area for PIP1. Third, set up the displayed location of PIP1. The last step is always to enable the PIP1 function. And then a floating window will appear. In addition, the operating procedures for PIP2 are the same with PIP1, just using the different register settings.

As we can see in the following video, user can change the locations and the contents of PIP windows as they wanted, when more information should be displayed on the screen and we don’t want to overwrite the main display window data.
