Feast of Joy ‘20 - Boxing Day at Potter’s Village, Dodowa

Описание: Potter’s Village, formerly known as Women’s Refuge and Child Survival (WORCSA), has been in existence for 20 years and continues to offer home care, research and placement, education and counselling and support for both women and children who suffer neglect, violence, exploitation and all kinds of abuses.
It has been committed to helping women and children and maintaining the health, emotional and socio-economic wellbeing of women and children as well. The home situated at Dodowa, currently caters for 107 children in-house and also supports 17 children outside the home.

Feast of Joy our annual Christmas Charity event focused on mobilizing resources and undertook the following activities at the home on Boxing Day, 26th December, 2020:
Donated educational materials- exercise books, learning aids etc
Donated clothing for the kids
Donated food supplies for the home’s kitchen
Organized a party for the children- served cooked meals, drinks and had fun games (bouncy castle, musical chairs, lime and spoon, swimming pool, etc.)

Through the donation of individual members and ministry partners ResQ provided the opportunity to the children in the home to have a Christmas experience like other children living with their biological families.

Over the years, we have witnessed the improvement in conditions at the Potter’s Village as a result of donor support, hence our continued commitment to support them.
