Описание:
The hero, played by Chaplin, is a janitor who gets sacked after accidently knocking his bucket of water out the window and upon his boss, the head banker (Tandy). Meanwhile, one of the junior managers (Dillon) is under investigation by his bookie for outstanding gambling debts. As a result, the management chooses to steal from the business. He is discovered in the midst of robbing the vault by the bank secretary (Carruthers), who calls for assistance below. Chaplin comes to the rescue, only to be misidentified as the robber by the Head Banker. Charlie receives a deserved award and a handshake for foiling the heist, and the Secretary fingers the management.
