Pipe tobacco is taxed much less heavily than cigarettes and cigarette tobacco is, making for an even cheaper smoke than rolling your own with cigarette tobacco, let alone buying factory-made cigarettes. And since pipes can smoke virtually any kind of cut tobacco, the producers can't be accused of mislabeling it.

Pipe and cigar tobacco contain tobacco that has been minimally processed and or cured with natural flavors which causes a more pleasant smell that doesn't stick to everything or grow as stale smelling.
