Originally from Doncaster and now based in London, Ryan Aitchison - better known as Mella Dee - is one of UK dance music's most authentic voices. Growing up on a diet of Northern soul, hardcore and rave tapes stolen from his older sister, he cut his teeth making garage and bassline as one half of Mista Men before launching his Warehouse Music imprint. His recent work has seen him return to his house and garage roots through his 'Nothing Stays The Same' imprint - an impressive gig and release schedule has also seen his productions featured on Fabric Selects, remixing legendary UK bands as Happy Mondays, and a full EP on Dutch powerhouse SlapFunk Records.

Mella Dee's sound draws from the full spectrum of UK dance music - house, garage, bassline and broken beats, all distilled into a signature forward-thinking Tech House flavour, filled with working-class swagger and zero pretension. His sets are built for the dancefloor, not the algorithm, moving through infectious grooves and classic UK sounds that hit different in 2026. There's a reason he's headlining festivals and packing out fabric - he brings the energy that made British rave culture legendary in the first place.
