Mary is our elderly neighbour, a lady who would do anything for anyone and give you here last penny if she had it.
Outside her front door is her little front garden which, when the sun is out, is an absolute suntrap. She regularly sits outside in an old camping chair with drink in hand just watching the world go by.
So, when she asked me if I would be able to make her a garden bench for her garden, I jumped at the chance. I had recently acquired 12 x 3.6m lengths of treated timber (got them really cheap from Facebook Market place) and knew these would be perfect for this project.
So a couple of weekends of effort, two coats of preservative and Mary now has somewhere nice to sit with her best friend Maisie.
