The Cannorians have done many great things in this world but have also committed grave sins. Their foremost sin is the Green Slave Trade where Orc from Escann are sold to the Cannorians, crammed onto boats, and shipped across the Uelos Lament Ocean for labor. The Orcs only survived because of how much hardier they are than Humans and Elves.
Varbuk was a Half-Orc born on a plantation in Dalaire. The implications of this are quite clear. He was a tough buck to break. His masters tried all they could to make him submit and obey, but when he broke, it was to their detriment not his. He smashed in the faces of his masters and began a bloody campaign of freeing the Orc and Half-Orc slaves of Dalaire. Armies were sent after him and his people, but they escaped into the domain of the Ynnsmen where they set up their own fledgling state: The Freemarches!

This is set in the world of Anbennar, a dnd inspired fantasy mod for the grand strategy game Europa Universalis IV (4). In this world there are countries made up of Orcs, Elves, Dwarves, and many more races or combinations of races. Magic, artificery, and monsters abound! War wizards launch massive fireballs to break down castle walls! All this and so much more await in this fantastical world!
