Описание: Homemade Evaporative Air Cooler! The 'plastic tote' AC Air Cooler! designed to be used on table-top or in a window! simple design. very effective. dropped 90F air down to 67F. similar in size to a small ac unit (so it fits neatly into a window). very lightweight. runs about 4 hours per fill-up. fan is 12VDC. pump used is AC (but DC pump can be used for 100% off-grid operation... i.e. solar panel or battery). if you have water and sun you got cool air! be ready for summer! ~ if interested, here's a link to a short video i did showing a comparison between an AC water pump and a DC water pump. *The DC water pump shown in the video would work great for this evap. cooler project. *both the pump and fan can be hooked directly to a 12v solar panel. DC pump is 20w and fan is 10w... so 30w panel will cover it. no battery needed • Water Pump Comparison! ~ 120VAC vs.12VDC (... a few final thoughts... using this design, you can essentially convert any small desk-top style fan into an AIR COOLING desk top fan... and the resulting unit is still only about the size of a regular size table fan. *the unit also can be easy converted into an air purifier! (if cooling is not needed). just remove the pump, pad and pvc and slip in a "cut to fit" air filter in the back of unit. then pop the lid on and you're set
