Feeling groggy on day 5 of my 30 day video challenge. Today I had the opportunity to host a fly fishing charter, which are my most favorite trips! Fly anglers are by far some of the most chill people on earth, and they are in it for the experience. Miami definitely gave Charles and Rachelle the full peacock bass fishing experience here in South Florida. Clear water, angry fish, colorful peacock bass, and parrots flying everywhere. This Miami canal system is super unique and no other place here in Florida looks and fishes like it. The sight fishing this place gives you is world class and the peacock bass love to eat the fly here. The fish today were up high and happy, and we got lots of shots at them on fly and they cooperated well. Rachelle really doesn't fish that much, but I could tell she was stoked to see these super strong peacock bass, so I devised a plan. I slowly worked her way up to getting a peacock bass cast to catch. Even though it was live bait, she still needed to make a precise cast and do all of the right steps to land the fish. Luckily I'm the right captain for the job and we got it done!
