In this final section of system development, the project team needs to ensure that the new information system is working correctly and satisfies the original system requirements that served as the foundation of the new systems purpose.

This is achieved through the processes of:
Testing
Evaluating
Maintaining

Essentially by the end of this stage system development is complete, with the system being fully implemented in to the organisation it was built for, with participants satisfied that system meets their requirements.
