Sanatio cordis in Vulnere Christi,
In sanguine eius pax reperitur.
In manu Salvatoris fracti curantur,
In lumine eius timor evanescit.

Healing of the heart is in the Wound of Christ,
In His Blood true peace is found.
In the hand of the Savior the broken are healed,
In His light fear disappears.

Verse I — Cor Vulneratum (The Wounded Heart)

Cor meum vulneratum ante te pono, Domine,
Plenum cicatricibus timoris et doloris.
Tu solus nosti vias occultas lacrimarum,
Et vocas me ex profundo silentii mei.

I lay my wounded heart before You, Lord,
Full of scars of fear and pain.
You alone know the hidden paths of my tears,
And You call me from the depths of my silence.

Verse II — Manus Medici (The Hand of the Healer)

Manus tua, Iesu, non contemnit infirma,
Sed tangit plagas ut sanentur.
Ubi mundus vulnera despexit,
Tu ea in fontes misericordiae mutas.

Your hand, Jesus, does not despise what is weak,

Lacrimas nostras ante crucem effundimus,
Tu eas in pretiosum nardum mutas.
Quod ferebamus ut pondus et vulnus,
Fit in manibus tuis donum laudis.

We pour out our tears before the Cross,
You change them into precious nard.
What we carried as burden and wound,
Becomes in Your hands an offering of praise.

Da nobis, Domine, cor novum,
Non fractum metu, sed inflammatum caritate.
Ut qui sanati sumus in misericordia tua,
Sanationem tuam aliis testificemur.

Give us, Lord, a new heart,

So that we who are healed in Your mercy
