Argostoli is the capital city of the Greek island, Kefalonia. Inhabited by 10.000 people on an average year round, Argostoli offers magnificent views and an interesting history, alike. Almost completely distroyed by a great earthquake in 1953, the town has been quickly reconstructed and now can be visited by a lot of toursits.
The main attractions of the town are:
the harbour area
-the Drapano Bridge
the Caretta Caretta turtles
-Koutavo Lagoon
Lithostrotou Street
Plateia Vallianou (Vallianou Square), etc.
