A union representing Nakumatt staff from Kericho branch is seeking intervention of the Labour Ministry over delayed salaries. The Kenya Union of Commercial, Food and Allied Workers is also demanding the payment of six month salary arrears of more than 70 workers who have not been paid yet the management is keen to shut down its premises. The workers locked themselves in the Kericho Branch to ensure it is not closed.
